Returning to Connecticut, she started her family and her free-lance career. Since then, Maggie has illustrated over 100 books for many different publishers including Scholastic, Houghton-Mifflin, Random House, and Sesame Workshop.
Regina Press is proud to have a very close working relationship with Maggie and believes that her art style is unique and offers a world of possibilities for children in the Catholic market. Regina Press has made a commitment to develop a full range of publications featuring Maggie's artwork. Recently, she has begun authoring the titles she illustrates. Kathy Fincher
Kathy Fincher describes her life as a merry-go-round that begins and ends with art, prints and posters. Her mother and her aunt, both artists, recognized her talent early. As a young girl, she fell in love with art and drawing.
After her first child was born, Kathy renewed her interest in her art studies. Her own children became her models. Kathy was encouraged by her mother and aunt to continue her studies with artist, Philip Lekki, who painted art, prints and posters and trained in the Impressionist style. His method of teaching included layering colors to enhance light. Kathy enjoyed the freedom of Impressionism which gave her a freedom and fresh approach from previously structured classical background studies.
Kathy's art, prints and posters reflect her strong Christian faith, love of children, and her fascination with light. Shining through her paintings is Kathy's belief that children are God's gift to us. Through art, Kathy has found a way to express her faith and a commitment to parenting.
Regina Press is proud to be working with Kathy to develop an entire range of products for the Catholic market. In addition to her first six books, an entire baby gift line has also been developed. There are plans to publish 6 more books in the near future.

William Luberoff
William Luberoff was a prolific artist, and is considered to be one of the greatest illustrators of religious artwork for the Catholic market.
His career in religious art began just after World War II.
He met Rudolph Schulhof, the founder of Reproducta Inc. in 1950.
They came to an agreement and began a 50 year relationship between Luberoff and Reproducta Inc. During that time, William Luberoff created thousands of paintings for their library. Many consider his art to be the defining style for the Catholic market. He would also be considered as a modern day Master. Bob Berran
Bob Berran is a classically trained artist who studied at the "Art Students League" with reknowned artists George Bridgman, Howard Trafton, Arnold Bank and Frank Reilly in the early 1960's.
After three years of studying with Frank Reilly, Bob followed his friend, Jim Bama, to "20th Century Fox" where he painted movie posters on a free-lance basis for about four years. He then joined a studio called "The Illustrators Group" where the artists were mostly from the "Sundblom" school of painting. While there, he had the opportunity to learn from Jack Wittrup, Nick Hufford, Bob Skemp, AL Kortner and Victor Livoti. The work done at this studio was for prestigious clients such as Ford and Coca-Cola.
In 1969, his friend Roger Kastel introduced him to Barbara Bertoli, the Art Director for Avon Books, and he began to paint paperback covers. To this day, Bob continues to paint covers for many publishers.
In 1995, Bob met with Ira Kramer, the Creative Director for Quadriga Art. They came to an agreement, and Bob began to paint for the religious market.
As with the artwork of William Luberoff, Regina Press is proud to be working with Quadriga Art and providing the Catholic market with Bob's artwork.
